Hawkins Reelected to Third Term at 110th MOFB Annual Meeting

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. – – Garrett Hawkins, originally elected as the organization’s 15th President in December 2020, was reelected to a third term during the 110th Missouri Farm Bureau annual meeting on Tuesday, December 10.

Hawkins is the third generation in his family to own and operate the St. Clair County farm in which he lives on today with his children, Adelyn, Colton and Tate. Their primary enterprise is beef cattle production; however, agriculture runs deep in the family and spans livestock, row crop and dairy production.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to serve Missouri Farm Bureau members,” said Hawkins. “We face big challenges in agriculture but even bigger opportunities. The journey continues as we work to bring our kids home to our farms and communities and to ensure rural Missouri remains a great place to live, work and serve.”

Hawkins was elected to the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Board of Directors in January 2024, and in 2025, he will begin service on the executive committee of the American Agricultural Insurance Company. A member of both the St. Clair County Farm Bureau and the St. Clair County Cattlemen’s Association, Hawkins also serves on the Ellett Memorial Hospital Board of Directors, the hospital his great uncle and aunt founded in the 1930s.

His term begins immediately and runs for two years.
