Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a head‑on crash on County Road 1820, seven miles northeast of West Plains.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened at 4:50 p.m. when an eastbound 2005 Dodge Dakota crossed the center of the roadway and struck a westbound 2012 Dodge pickup. The Dakota’s driver, an 18‑year‑old man from Peace Valley, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by South Howell Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare.

Two passengers in the westbound truck—a 44‑year‑old woman and a 68‑year‑old woman, both from West Plains—received minor injuries. One was taken by private vehicle, and the other was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare.
