Here It Is Again! This Week’s Wrap-Up And Videos For Featured Pets Of This Week

Pet Adorers! – Here it is again. After the Featured Pet of the Day posts started, you were promised a wrap-up and videos, if we have them, of each animal. This week was our first full week of this program, so you will see 5 different pets looking for forever homes. All these pets are currently being fostered at Ozarks Pet Rescue. We are hoping to help local animal shelters with their overcrowding by bringing awareness to the situation and helping these animals finally have a place to settle. Look below to see this week’s pets. There were not very many videos of these animals, so I apologize, some animals either like the camera like a best friend, or just want you to get a good shot of their backside.

Starting with Monday, we featured Harlow as the Featured Pet of the Day. Harlow is one of the sweetest and calmest cats you will ever meet. She was a mama cat and has almost all of her milk dried up now. She was dumped at and then rescued from Snappy Mart Gas Station. She is currently being fostered at Ozarks Pet Rescue and we were told she is up to date on all of her shots and medication. Harlow is really quick to warm up to all people and does great with kids. She also loves being the center of attention and does do well in a kennel for transportation. She is also one of the rare cats who loves a good cuddle.

On Tuesday, we featured Zena. She is very timid and shy of new people but is one of the sweetest little girls ever. She had a troubling past and was rescued from a home with 57 other dogs and cats where they were not fed and not taken care of. This is why she is timid around strangers. When I went Zena did show interest in other people and does good around other dogs and cats. She is equally fine with children and adults. Please give this girl some love and her first forever home where she can be safe and comfortable. Zena is a beautiful dog with a great coat and amazing spots across her face and back. She came from a not-so-good situation and is still looking for her forever good one.

On Wednesday, the Featured Pet of the Day contained three different kittens Socks, Daisy, and Luke Bryan. I met these three kittens and they all share the best cat personality. Socks is such a cuddle bug and a people person. He gets all up in your business to get his pets. Luke Bryan has a funny personality, showing you his belly for his belly pats. Daisy is a little more timid than her fellow kittens but still loves her attention. All three do good in kennels and are currently being fostered in a home with Ozarks Pet Rescue. They are all being fostered together at the current moment and are waiting for their forever people to show up and take them home.

Thursday’s Featured Pet of the Day brought you the beautiful sight of Pat. Pat is an 8-month-old Bully mix. Pat does very well with other dogs but is not so great with cats. Pat is a sweet fun-loving dog around all humans. This pup was brought to Ozarks Pet Rescue after she was rescued off of the Euthanasia list at Mountain Grove Animal Control. Pat is looking for a fun-loving home where she can let her true personality shine.

Today’s Featured Pet of the Day shows you Pat’s brother, Vin Deisel. Vin Diesel is also an 8-month-old Bully mix. He was rescued off the Euthanasia list with Mountain Grove Animal Control. He is described as a complete people pup. He loves to play and run and give kisses. He enjoys all kinds of toys and other dogs. He is not that great with cats, though.

If you are interested in adopting any of these wonderful animals, contact Ozarks Pet Rescue at 417-372-9820. Adoption Fees for dogs are $150, kittens are $100, and adult cats are $75. Keep watch for next week we are starting some posts of animals from a new shelter. Remember to go check out the wrap-ups. Have a good weekend, everyone!
