Pet Lovers! – As promised on Facebook, here is a look at this week’s Pets of the Week wrap-up and videos. In the hope of helping local animal rescues and shelters, we have started a new project, Pet of the Week. The idea of the wrap-ups is to give people a chance to see videos of these pets in action.
We started on Wednesday with Biscuit. Biscuit is being fostered at the Ozarks Pet Rescue animal rescue and shelter. Biscuit is a super fun-loving dog, with a lot of energy. He loves humans, especially babies and children. He is not very fond of cats, though. Biscuit is Ozarks Pet Rescue’s longest-staying rescue, having been there around 9 months. Please don’t be frightened of this handsome boy because he has some pitbull features. He really is a sweet dog with a hilarious personality and, bright side, he is already leashed-trained and does really well with new humans. Let’s just say, this video shows how curious this little boy is. If you are interested in this handsome boy contact Ozarks Pet Rescue at 417-372-9820.
On Thursday, we highlighted little Lyla. This little girl was brought into the shelter at 4 weeks old with her brothers and sisters. She is the last one of the litter left and is looking for a permanent family to open their doors to her. She was bottle-fed, so she LOVES people and does really well with cats and children. She already has some training and knows how to sit on command, especially for a treat. She was at an extremely cuddly and playful stage when I met her and definitely just wanted her nose to be in the camera. She is with a foster with Ozarks Pet Rescue right now. If you are interested in adopting this adorable puppy into a forever home contact Ozark Pet Rescue at 417-372-9820.
On Friday, we highlighted Sunset. Sunset is still a kitten and therefore has her changes on whether she wants to hide or be cuddled. She is staying with a foster with Ozarks Pet Rescue. From what I could gather, she warms up to people pretty fast and loves treats, like would do anything for one. She only has three legs, one had to be amputated due to circumstances before she was rescued. And it also seems like she loves a good game of hide and seek (especially if there are treats involved). Despite being three-legged, she is fast, steady, and has a good cat personality. If you are interested in giving this baby a forever home contact Ozarks Pet Rescue at 417-372-9820. I was unable to get any videos of the cats because they were all fighting to get in the spotlight in the pictures and/or trying to get back to their resting spots. But I did get some good pictures that will be attached of Sunset.
