Highway Patrol Troop G to give CDL Written Test Friday to beat ELDT Deadline

Willow Springs, Mo. – Troop G of the Missouri State Highway has decided to give CDL Written Tests today at 1:00 p.m. so community members have a chance to beat the ELDT deadline.

ELDT is an acronym that stands for Entry-Level Driver Training. According to the Missouri Department of Revenue, The ELDT regulations defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in 49 CFR 380 establish minimum training requirements for entry-level commercial motor vehicle (CMV) operators in interstate and intrastate commerce. The deadline was originally set for February of 2020 but pushed back to allow the industry time to adjust and update technologies.
