Historic Story Circle For West Plains At Yellow House This Weekend

West Plains, MO. – To correspond with the Ozark Heritage Festival, Yellow House will be hosting a story circle of historic events from noon to 3 p.m. 

Danette House and Marideth Sisco will be hosting this event. many Missouri Storytellers will be there to retell many stories of West Plains history. Some stories will be stories passed down through generations of their families and some will be based on extensive research. Sabrina Lewis will be telling a story about her great uncle and his visit to a Nazi camp in World War ll. Danette will be telling a story of her mother’s experiences growing up in the early Ozarks.

The event is free for the public. It will also be catered by Ree Creations and food will be available for purchase by event guests.
