Recently, the Houston Lions Club recognized the Houston School District Teachers of the Year. The following teachers were honored: Veronica Douglas – elementary, Sandra Haney – middle school, and Greg Huffman – high school.
“We are blessed to have some great teachers in our area and the Lions Club officers and members appreciates everything they do,” said Bennie Cook, Houston Lions Club President.
