Houston, MO. – This Friday, the Houston Lions Club will be holding a yearly event which will also showcase an award presentation they hope will be a yearly tradition going forward.
The award to be presented is designated as the Houston Lions Club President’s Service award, which will be given to an outstanding individual who has dedicated their life to service.
The award will be presented during the Annual Houston Lions Club Christmas Party. The price of admission is listed as a $10-$15 gift for Texas County Share Your Christmas, and $5-$10 worth of non-perishable food for the Texas County Food Pantry.
Those interested in attending this event are asked to RSVP by November 29th.
Additional events outlined in this announcement include Texas County Shop with a Hero, scheduled for December 16th, and a January 5th Law Enforcement Appreciation Lunch.
