Houston, MO. – Today, Officers with the Houston Police Department and the Texas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about shots being fired around on Fourth Street.
During the investigation, law enforcement discovered that a dispute had occurred between a pair of individuals who were former spouses.

The male individual had visited the residence in order to see his son, and in that time, former spouse, Judith Kimrey, 67, arrived back home. Kimrey threatened the male with a pistol, and as he walked away, she fired in his direction, nearly striking the man.
Kimrey was apprehended and transported to the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, where she waits on a 24-hour hold, pending charges.
