HOUSTON, Mo. — Residents of the city of Houston will be deciding on the continuation of a sales tax during Tuesday’s municipal election.
The quarter-cent tax is on retail sales or services, and is used for sidewalk and road upkeep.

If approved by voters, the tax would be continued for five years.
Polling places open at 6 am and close at 7 pm.
