Howell Co. reports 13th COVID-19 death, 53 new cases

The Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 53 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1092. Currently, there are 259 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 259, 19 are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases, 29 reside in West Plains, 6 live in Mountain View, 8 live in Willow Springs, 2 live in Koshkonong , 3 live in Pomona, 2 live in Pottersville, 2 live in Bakersfield and 1 lives in Dora. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 22 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 31 cases that have been linked to known cases.
