Howell Co. reports 28 new COVID-19 cases

The Howell County Health Department is reporting an additional twenty-eight (28) cases of COVID-19  identified within the county.  This brings the year to date total number of cases to 411.

Currently, there are 120 known active cases in Howell County. Of the 120 cases, six are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Eighteen of the new cases reside in West Plains, four live in Willow Springs, three  live in Mtn. View and three live in Pomona.

Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. Fourteen of the cases are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. Fourteen of the cases have been linked to known cases.
