Howell Co. reports 46 new COVID-19 cases

The Howell County Health Department reports an additional forty six cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to five hundred and thirty five. Currently, there are one hundred and fifty seven known active cases in Howell County. Of these one hundred and fifty seven, four are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

Thirty two of the new cases reside in West Plains, two live in Willow Springs, nine live in Mtn. View, two live in Peace Valley and one lives in Pomona.

Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. Fourteen of the cases are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. Thirty two of the cases have been linked to known cases.
