The Howell County Health Department reports an additional seven cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total of cases to 151.
Currently, there are 22 known active cases in the county. Of the 22 cases, three have been hospitalized with COVID-19.
Of the new cases identified; three reside in the West Plains area, two reside in the Mountain View area and two reside in the Willow Springs area. All seven cases are currently isolating under public health guidance. All of the cases are identified as community spread. Significant contacts to these cases have been notified by the health department. There are no identified exposures to the general public indicated.
