The Howell County Health Department reports they have been notified of 6 new cases of COVID-19 in the county. This brings the year to date total to 128 cases. Presently, 23 individuals are considered to be active and on isolation and one remains hospitalized.
Four of the new cases reside in West Plains, and two resides in the Willow Springs area. All six are isolating at home under public health guidance. Five of the cases were community spread, while 1 were traced to known cases. Known significant contacts to these cases have been notified by the health department.
People visiting the following locations during the dates/times below are at LOW risk for contracting COVID-19, but should monitor themselves for symptoms. There is no need to self-quarantine or isolate unless you have symptoms develop. Anyone who develops symptoms of COVID-19 should contact their health care provider regarding testing and take all necessary precautions to avoid exposing others.
