Howell County Health Department reports that an additional three cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 158.
Currently, there are 13 known active cases in the county. Of the 13 cases, two are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Both of the new cases identified reside in the West Plains area. Both cases are currently isolating under public health guidance. Both cases are linked to known cases in the county. Significant contacts to these cases have been notified by the health department. Exposure to the general public is not a concern with either case.
