The Howell County Health Department reports an additional 52 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year-to-date total number of cases to 750. Monday’s COVID-19 testing update, released by the Howell County Health Department, reports three additional COVID-19 deaths. There have been six year-to-date deaths in the county.
Currently, there are 138 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 138, twelve are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases; 33 reside in West Plains, six live in Mountain View, nine live in Willow Springs, two live in Pomona, one lives in Moody and one lives in Koshkonong. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine.
Of the new 52 cases; 32 cases that are considered community spread, where the source of the infection is unknown, and 20 cases that have been linked to known cases.
