Howell Co. Reports two more COVID-19 cases

The Howell County Health Department has announced the thirty-seventh and thirty-eighth case of COVID-19 has been identified in the county.

The thirty-seventh case resides in the Mtn. View area. Contact tracing indicates that this case is the result of community spread, in that the source of the infection has not been identified. Contacts to the case have been notified.

The thirty-eighth case is a West Plains resident. Contact tracing on the case indicates that the infection is related to a recent out of area travel.

Both cases are on isolation and following public health guidance. The employers for both individuals have been notified and are working with the health department to contain the spread of the virus.
