The Howell County Health Department reports an additional 33 cases of COVID-19 identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 783.
Currently, there are 154 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 154, fifteen are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases; 21 reside in West Plains, two live in Mountain View, seven live in Willow Springs, two live in Pomona and one lives in Koshkonong.
Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. Of the new cases, eight cases that are considered community spread, where the source of the infection is unknown, and 25 cases that have been linked to known cases.
