Howell County Health Department reports that the number of cases of COVID-19 in the county has now increased to thirty-four.
Two of the new cases reside in the West Plains area, one resides in the Moody area, while the remaining one resides in the Peace Valley area.
Contact tracing on the cases have identified that three of the four cases have been linked to previously identified cases within the county.
However, the thirty-fourth case is believed to have a travel related infection, the result of a recent trip out of state.
Each case is currently isolating and following public health guidance. Employers and significant contacts to the cases have been notified.
