Howell County daily COVID-19 report: 23 new cases

The Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 23 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 2209.

Currently, there are 136 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 136, six are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

Of the new cases; 15 reside in West Plains, two live in Willow Springs, two live in Mountain View,  two live in Peace Valley, one lives in Pottersville and one lives in Pomona.

Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. Of the new cases: 15 are considered community spread, where the source of the infection is unknown, eight cases have been linked to known cases.
