Howell County daily COVID-19 report: 30 cases in three days

The Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 30 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county (totals include Saturday, Sunday and Monday). This brings the year to date total number of cases to 2249. Currently, there are 87 known active cases in Howell County.

Of these 87, six are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.  Of the new cases; 19 reside in West Plains, six live in Mountain View, two live in Willow Springs, one lives in Pomona, one lives in Moody and one lives in Brandsville.

Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine.  Of the new cases; 15 are considered community spread, where the source of the infection is unknown, and 15 cases have been linked to known cases.
