The Candidates:
Rep. Lisa Durnell (R – Incumbent): Elected in 2024, Durnell a “consistent conservative.” Her platform centers heavily on transparency, pro-life legislation, and strong Second Amendment protections.
Travis Smith (R – Challenger) Smith previously served as the State Representative for District 155 (Douglas County area) from 2021 to 2025, Smith is seeking a return to the House. His platform focuses on rural healthcare infrastructure, economic growth, and utilizing his legislative experience to act as a “workhorse” for the district.
