Howell County Sheriff arrests Out of State Fugitive

On the morning of Thursday, September 2, shortly after 6:20 a.m., Lieutenant Jared Peterman of the Howell County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop of a black 2001 Chevrolet SUV for failing to obey a traffic control device. The vehicle’s driver, Michael Lee Roberts, 38, was issued a citation and then arrested and transported to the Howell County Jail to be held on two warrants from Willow Springs and was placed on 24-hour hold for being a Fugitive out of State.

Michael Lee Roberts was charged with two counts of Failure to Appear – Misdemeanor, one count each of Failure to Appear on Felony, Fugitive from Out of State – Felony, and Possession of Controlled Substance Sched. I, II Methamphetamine or Cocaine. Roberts total bond is $50,500.
