Howell County Sheriff Department Learns About Domestic Violence from Agape House

Howell County, MO. – On March 8, 2024, Sheriff Brent Campbell, accompanied by 143rd District Representative Bennie Cook, 155th Representative Travis Smith, Mountain View Police Department Sergeant Berkshire, and Executive Director Tressa Price visited the Agape House and Joan Smith-Lawson Resource Center in Mountain View, MO.

At Agape House and The Resource Center, Sheriff Brent, and other individuals and participants were educated on the resources provided to domestic violence victims and their children. They also mentioned the in-processing systems, resources provided for them, and the follow-up care of women up to 30 within the residence and outside the direct housing. The Sheriff’s Department learned more about an issue that is faced by many so they could better help those in need of assistance.
