Some parents in the South Fork School District are upset about a recent relocation of the school’s resource officer, Corporal Shannon Sisney. Howell County Sheriff Matt Roberts has issued a statement, dispelling rumors that the change was some kind of retaliation against Cpl. Sisney. Sheriff Roberts stated that the assignment was due to a need at West Plains Middle School, saying, “Corporal Sisney is an experienced School Resource Officer who has the knowledge, skills and abilities to address any issues that may arise.”
