Howell County Sheriff’s Office Held Annual Banquet, Announces Several Awards

West Plains, MO. – The Howell County Sheriff’s Office held its yearly awards banquet over the weekend, which included recognizing several officers for their efforts, promotions, and jobs well done.

An award for 10 Years of Service went to Deputy Kyle Parrish.

Awards for Officers who completed the Field Training Officer Course included Deputy First Class Jared Hummel, Deputy First Class Travis Weaver, Deputy Timothy Gordon and Deputy John Thomas.

Awards for those who completed Basic S.W.A.T. Training Courses include Lieutenant Jason Long, Lieutenant Matthew Roberts, Corporal Seth Smith, Deputy First Class Travis Weaver and Deputy Timothy Gordon.

Awards were given to those who completed the First-Line Supervisor Course, which included Lieutenant Jason Long, Lieutenant Matthew Roberts, Corporal Seth Smith, Deputy First Class Travis Weaver and Deputy Timothy Gordon.

Awards were given to those who completed the Junior Supervisor Course, which included Corporal Nicholas Bruno, Corporal Brian Jackson, Deputy First Class Dakota Millard, Corporal Seth Smith, Deputy First Class Jared Hummel, Deputy First Class Travis Weaver, Deputy Timothy Gordon and Deputy John Thomas.

Deputy First Class Shannon Sisney completed the course for School Resource Officer training.

Lieutenant Matthew Roberts received an award for completing the approved Counter Terrorism Officer Course.

Those awarded for completing Crisis Intervention Training include Lead Supervisor Glenda Zook, Corporal Rick Fox, Deputy Avery Stolba and Deputy First Class James Hatten.
