Howell County, MO. – On June 25, 2024, Sheriff Brent Campbell with the Howell County Sheriff’s Office announced that they, in collaboration with ProtechDNA, will be spearheading a groundbreaking statewide initiative designed to combat property theft.
ProtechDNA’s innovative program, known as DNA for Property, introduces a revolutionary solution to combat property theft effectively. This involves applying an adhesive gel containing thousands of microscopic dots, each uniquely encoded with a PIN or serial number, which will allow officers to swiftly identify and recover stolen items.
