Howell County Sherriff’s Department Reports a Successful Drug Take Back

From the Howell County Sherriff’s Office:

Thanks to the contributions made at the Howell County Sheriff’s Office lobby over the last two years, and during the DEA Drug Takeback Day last Saturday, we gathered an impressive 760 lbs. of expired or unused medications!
These medications were carefully packed and delivered to the Drug Enforcement Agency in Springfield for proper disposal yesterday, freeing up valuable space here at the Howell County Sheriff’s Office.
This accomplishment reflects the kindness and responsibility of our wonderful community. Your involvement plays a crucial role in keeping our homes safe and our environment clean. THANK YOU for participating!
And Remember: We collect medication year-round, and you can bring your expired medication to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office lobby anytime and place them in the red metal box. 💙
