As of 7 a.m. this morning, Thursday, Jan. .26, Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative has just more
than 11,000 members without power across the six-county service area. With a total of just more
than 25,000 meters this is around half our membership.

Crews from five different Missouri Cooperatives arrived by last night, giving us 39 additional
linemen and 16 contractors to assist our HOEC team to continue working on the restoration.

All linemen gathered at HOEC in West Plains, Mo., early this morning for a safety and job
briefing before tackling today’s task. Thank you for your patience. Crews are working across the
service area today as the power outages are scattered across the system.

Members are urged to remain patient as crews deal with mud, fallen trees and slick roads to
make repairs. Remember, please treat any downed power line as if it were energized and stay
away. To report downed lines or outages, call 417-256-2131 or 888-HOE-POWER. You may also
report outages on the SmartHub app for your smartphone or through our website at
www.hoecoop.org.
