West Plains, MO. – Howell Oregon Electric Coopertive, Inc. has issued a statement earlier today talking about imposters who have been reported to them.
The statement attests that individuals working out of a white van have been “entering properties without respect”. They go on to iterate that individuals who work for the Coop work in red trucks, and contractors in white trucks, but no white vans are used. They also state Coop workers should also always have a badge and nametag they can show you, as well as information as to how to contact the home office. Lastly, they state paperwork should also be present that verifies the identity of the workers.
If you run into individuals entering your property without permission who claim to be pole inspectors or other workers without proper identification should be reported to your local authority on the service supposedly being provided.
