Due to the continued extreme high temperatures, Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative is entering a πππΌπ πΌππππ period. Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative is asking members to alternate the use of major appliances, including washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and stoves from 12:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
You can also reduce energy consumption by unplugging unused chargers and appliances such as cell phone charges, tablet chargers and small kitchen appliances. Consider turning your thermostat up a few degrees as well. If a peak electrical demand is reached it could cost the cooperative and members hundreds of thousands of dollars in future years. You can make a difference.
