The Douglas County Sheriff’s office is reporting that the remains of man reported missing in 2015 have been discovered.
Brandon Wood, of Mountain Grove, was reported missing by family members in September of 2015.

According to Douglas County investigators, human remains were recently located in a rural area of the county. The area had been previously searched, but recent home construction turned up new evidence. Investigators identified the remains to be Wood’s through dental records.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reports there are persons of interest in the case, however, no arrests have been made.
