Ava, MO. – The Ava Chamber of Commerce is planning to put together a Christmas event surrounding their annual festivities for the first time this year, labeled the “Ava Cookie Walk”.
This event will feature things such as the annual parade and tree-lighting ceremony, in addition to bringing businesses in on the fun. Taking place December 5th from 10am to 3pm, participants will receive a cookie bag and a stamp card that will lead to cookies being provided by 24 stops in the downtown area.
The initial check-in will be the Ava Community Center, with tickets being $20 each. Cut-off for registration is 2pm, with tickets being limited. Apparel related to the event is also being sold as a further fundraiser for the Chamber.
