West Plains, MO. – Just this morning, information was received of a severe crash South of West Plains involving a semi on South 63. This accident occurred North of the Speedway, in the area of the Bridge Church.
Information on this accident is still sparse and is being collected, but it appears the driver of the semi has been air-lifted to Cox South in Springfield for medical treatment. Time of the accident has been placed at roughly 6:50, and it appears the driver had overcorrected when leaving the roadway, leading to a crash that overturned and destroyed the vehicle.
