Licking, MO. – A man convicted of multiple violent crimes including rape and murder died at the South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri this morning.
Offender Dennis Olds was pronounced deceased at 2:10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

Olds was a 68-year-old offender serving multiple life sentences for 1st-degree murder, 1st-degree robbery, seven counts of forcible rape, forcible sodomy, two counts of felonious restraint, 2nd-degree assault, and two counts of armed criminal action, all from St. Louis City. The crimes were said to be committed in the 1970’s and 80’s. Olds was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on October 18, 1973.
Officals for the prison state that Olds died of apparent natural causes.
