Inmate Wrongfully Held in Licking Prison Released

Licking, MO. – After a lengthy back-and-forth between Missouri courts and Andrew Bailey, the St Louis man serving as an inmate in the South Central Correctional Center in Licking has been released.

The man in question is 52-year-old Christopher Dunn. Dunn had been imprisoned for murder that took place back in 1990. The victim in this case was Ricco Rogers, a 15-year-old male who was shot to death. Dunn was sentenced to prison for the murder in large part due to witness testimony that was found to be faulty later; the witnesses recanted their statements, saying police had coerced the statements when they were kids.
