Winona, Mo. – An intoxicated woman rolled her vehicle during Wednesday afternoons winter storm. The accident occurred on Highway 19, one quarter mile north of US 60 in Winona at 3:20 p.m.
A southbound 2009 Ford Fusion driven by Lorraina Smothers, 33 of Winona, ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned. Upon investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Smothers was found to be intoxicated. She was charged with Misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated and No Valid License before being released for medical treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash.
