Jedlicka Named Semi-Finalist for Golden Owl Award

West Plains R-VII School District is proud to announce that Tonya Jedlicka, agricultural education teacher and FFA advisor, has been named a semi-finalist for the Missouri FFA Foundation’s inaugural Golden Owl Award, sponsored by Nationwide.

The Golden Owl Award honors Missouri agricultural educators for their significant impact on preparing the next generation of agricultural leaders. With nearly 400 nominations submitted statewide, only 18 teachers were selected as semi-finalists—an amazing achievement for Mrs. Jedlicka and the West Plains FFA program.
