July 4th: MSHP Troop G Statistics

The July 4th holiday has come and passed now, and emergency responders from all agencies had their work cut out for them with a high volume of calls over the past few days. Sergeant Eddie Young with the Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued statistics on their overall number of worked cases in the period spanning from June 30th at 6pm, to July 4th at midnight.

22 overall crashes were worked over this period, with 13 of those including injuries. Additionally, 13 arrests were made due to DWI-related charges, and one drug arrest was performed. No boating fatalities occurred, and zero was the number of fatalities reported.
