Juvenile and Adult Injured in DWI Overturn Crash

Summersville, MO. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol are reporting an overturn crash injured an adult driver and their juvenile passenger this past Wednesday night.

This crash took place on Highway 17, roughly 3 miles northwest of Summersville, and involved 28-year-old Nixa resident Joshua Crane driving a Chevy Silverado. The driver drove off the right side of the road and struck the embankment, causing the vehicle to go airborne before overturning.

Crane was inflicted with moderate injuries, and a 6-year-old passenger received minor injuries. Both were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston for further treatment.

Crane additionally received criminal charges as a result of the accident, including felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and misdemeanor DWI.
