Juvenile Seriously Injured In 4-Wheeler Crash After She Failed To Yield To An Oncoming Vehicle

Newburg, MO. – A 13-year-old girl was seriously injured in a four-wheeler crash after failing to yield to an oncoming vehicle.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the accident occurred on September 8th, 2024, at 9:20 a.m. at the intersection of County Roads 7210 and 7240. The 13-year-old was driving a 1995 Honda Fourtrax 300 southbound when she failed to yield at the intersection. She was struck by a 2016 Jeep Wrangler driven westbound by 43-year-old Emily Arthur.

The juvenile sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to St. Louis Children’s Hospital for treatment.

The crash was investigated by Trooper K.P. Hunt of Troop I.
