West Plains, MO. – A Kansas City woman was injured in a boat collision on the Eleven Point River in Oregon County on Monday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred two miles upstream from Whitten Access, twelve miles east of Alton, at 1:30 p.m. on September 4, 2023.
A kayak piloted by Delanie Johnson, age 31 of Kansas City, entered the path of a Blazer utility boat in a narrow area of the river and was struck by the larger vessel, piloted by Jayden Johnson, age 27 of Alton.

The man was uninjured in the collision but, Delanie suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
