Black, MO. – A motorcycle rider who comes from Olathe, Kansas was seriously injured in Reynolds County this past Sunday after striking a tree.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol say this took place at 1:20pm. The rider, identified as William Govero, 59, was riding a Harley Davidson on Highway 49 when he failed to negotiate a curve, which led to him travelling off the roadway and striking the tree.
The Harley was totaled in the collision, and Govero was seriously injured, which led to air ambulance services being called to transport him to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
