Kennett woman injured in Wright County crash

West Plains, MO. – A Kennett woman is being treated in a Springfield hospital after a one-vehicle crash in Wright County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred Monday morning at 2:40 a.m. on US 60, a half-mile east of Mountain Grove.

An eastbound Chrysler 300 driven by 21-year-old Marsiah Nelson traveled off the right side of the roadway and impacted a rock bluff. The vehicle was totaled in the crash.

Nelson had been wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries in the crash. She was transported by air ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
