Learn How to Make a Turkey-Friendly Habitat in this Workshop

Mansfield, MO. – Those who are interested in making their properties more friendly for the local turkey population can learn to do so at an upcoming workshop in Mansfield, MO.

This workshop is being organized by the Missouri Department of Conservation, and is scheduled for August 24th. Those who attend will learn how to maintain or restore natural oak woodland areas, which make for the preferred areas for the turkey. In addition, these woodlands provide better locations for local wildflowers, and pollinators by extension.
