AVA, Mo. — A Lee’s Summit man faces drug charges after a traffic stop over the weekend in Douglas County.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reports that 54-year-old Christopher Sharp was charged with felony DWI-persistent offender and felony delivery of a controlled substance.
A Douglas County deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle on Saturday, November 2 that resulted in Sharp’s arrest for a DWI. Authorities say roughly 8 pounds of marijuana was found during an inventory of the vehicle.
Sharp was released after posting a $15,000 cash-only bond.
