Licking man arrested for Robbery and resisting arrest

Houston, MO. – A Licking man was arrested last week and is accused of robbing a convenience store. 

Logan Michael Venn, age 23, was arrested on Nov. 30, 2023, on the charges of 2nd-degree robbery, resisting arrest for a felony, 3rd-degree assault, and 3rd-degree assault – special victim.

According to the probable cause statement, Venn is accused of using pepper spray to rob the Casey’s General Store on South Main Street around 8 p.m. Venn was located a short distance away from the store by Licking Police and taken into custody. Police allege Venn kicked an officer and continued to struggle even after being handcuffed. Evidence recovered from the suspect include $337 in cash and a can of pepper spray.

Logan Venn is being held in the Texas County Jail on a $75,000 cash or surety bond.
