Houston, MO. – A teen from Licking is currently recovering after crashing their vehicle in Texas county Thursday evening.
The location of this accident was Horse Shoe Drive. A 16-year-old male from Licking was driving a Honda Rancher ATV along the roadway, when, at 5:10pm, they failed to negotiate a curve. This caused them to drive off the roadway and strike a tree.

While the ATV was listed as taking no damage, the juvenile in this incident sustained moderate injuries. They were taken via private conveyance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston for treatment.
Investigation on this accident was performed by Corporal J.R. Sellars of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
