Caulfield, MO. – Bill Oakley, a native of Caulfield Missouri, lost his home on the night of March 6th of 2022 at roughly 11pm as a result of lightning from the storm systems that swept through the area at roughly. The Caulfield Fire Department was called out to the fire, and arrived at the property shortly after, but was unable to get close enough to residence to fight the fire, as the intense rain and the weight of the fire truck caused the narrow driveway to trap the vehicle.
Bill Oakley is a well known member of the community around Caulfield and West Plains, and a GoFundMe has been created to help him recover from the loss. He is currently recovering in Mercy Hospital at Springfield for his burns and lacerations.
